SEC Championship Predictions

The college football playoffs and the championships are close and people are already starting to make predictions on who the dominant teams are. For the 2015 - 2016 season there has been a lot of upsets and unpredicted blowouts in college and NFL football.

In NCAA many people, as usual, have their eyes on Alabama as they continue to blowout teams making their way to the SEC championship. They are well known for their defense as they have helped them with double winning seasons. Their upcoming rival are the Florida Gators as they play in the SEC South Championship. Alabama's defense is ranked 12th in the conference in yards per play which is going to give the Florida offense a tough time. This will be Florida's toughest game this year. Alabama offense will also have a battle to face with Florida Gators defense being the best defense they have to play against. I believe Bama's offense will struggle at first but soon will but points on the board as they always do with running back Derrik Henry. Henry already has 1797 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns this season. Florida defense will have to adjust their defense for Henry. Knowing that Henry had 46 carries against Auburn there is no doubt in Coach Nick Saban head that he won't feed the ball to his workhorse. Alabama will need to keep the ball on the ground against the Gators as starting quarterback Jacob Coker has only completed 65 percent of his passes. The Gators starting quarterback, Treon Harris, is also looking to not have a lot of success this game as Bama's defense haven't given up a lot of points with passes this season. So far in November games Harris is 58 of 112 completed and only three touchdowns. At the end of the day Alabama is more complete than Florida with their offense and defense. Head coach Jim McElwain should be proud as far this team as come knowing it's his first year with the Gators.

Prediction: Alabama 38, Florida 17
